EachOther is very pleased to announce the appointment of Zeb Walters as our new Film Assistant
Born and raised in New Cross, London, Zebs’ varied professional experience spans over 10 years and includes work within the film industry as well as the Equality and Inclusion sector curating educational events and workshops across London.
After gaining recognition from his first short film, Zeb Walters began his career being mentored by award- winning documentary filmmaker James Rogan, working internships for documentary companies such as Films Of Record and Minnow Films.
Securing a ‘voices that matter’ scholarship from Met Film School, Zeb completed his studies and began working as a freelancer on feature films.
With a strong belief that everyone has a voice and a unique experience, Zeb created The Interrupters, a collective of performers, artists and creative thinkers that use their craft to promote understanding, break down barriers and ultimately change the way we belong in the world.
“The platform grew out of a deep love of live art, energised conversations and a first event in an East London warehouse.” Zeb went on to work with the heads of D&I at M&C Saatchi and R/GA as well as working with Queer Britain to deliver diversity and inclusion events workshops and events, that challenge through play, experience and creativity to help people explore their beliefs and understandings on a deeper level, then act differently.
Zeb also has a passion for politics and worked with 38 Degrees to create the People powered vision for Brexit which helped constituents all over the country meet with their MPs to have their voice heard on Brexit.
On his role with Each Other, he said: “I’m extremely excited to be working for an organisation doing such great work, where I can merge my passion for filmmaking with my passion for igniting conversations and promoting understanding.”
Zeb started with the charity in April 2022.
