That I might be a politician never entered my mind for the better part of my life. Who on earth might relish the idea of a complete public strip-down, begging for money, endless criticism, and the ongoing task of talking about oneself in public?
That wasn’t at the bottom of the list of my aspirations in life – it never made the list.
Then, many things changed, suddenly, and for the worse. Our policies, practices, and direction seemed entirely without a compass.
Education was of particular concern. What ever happened to teaching kids “how to think” over “what to think?”
To me, words have particular meaning. That’s what allows us to communicate clearly. Suddenly, special interest groups successfully convinced many that banning certain words and changing the meaning of many others, would “make the world a better place.”
That’s crazy. And, how could any child learn, or any teacher teach in such a nonsensical environment?
Words have meaning for good reason. They provide for sentences that can be parsed, contracts that can be adjudicated, records that can be relied upon as sound and accurate, and facts that can be passed from one generation to the next without loss of meaning, context, or intent.
So, after having spent decades as a problem solver for fortune 100 and 500 companies in the areas of manufacturing, technology, finance, supply chain logistics, product delivery, and communications, I decided to run for a seat on my community’s local school board.
I now have eight grandchildren to worry about, and every child deserves education over indoctrination. I’m humbled to have recently been re-elected to my fourth, three-year term as a director and past president of my local school board.
But our problems stretch well beyond (and largely stem from) decades of erosion and infiltration to what used to be a calling for the best and brightest “teachers” within “education.”
Our problems have escalated dramatically since my first run for school board in 2012. In 2018, I decided to attempt a larger role in my efforts to help right a ship headed for disaster. And, I was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly serving the 59th District.
In 2020, disaster struck. What holds our freedom in the palm of hand, was successfully attacked.
Free, fair, and lawful elections for the leadership of our entire country – the very hope of freedom for all of humanity around the globe – was successfully hijacked. The “shining city on a hill,” went dark.
I didn’t want to believe it. Who would? But, I am adept at statistics, scientific analysis, and electronics. It was true. Evidence of “widespread fraud” was not only evident, but beyond dispute.
And, I surely would have welcomed any valid victor – but that’s not the point.
The point is, that while I was “up-close and personal,” as a State Assembly member, I saw the corruption and denial on both sides.
How could anyone serve at taxpayer expense while turning a blind eye to the obvious?
It’s not only that my colleagues in the Wisconsin State Legislature looked the other way (with very few exceptions). They also vilified me, ostracized me, distanced themselves from me. Why?
Because the Republican leadership told them what to say, what to think, and what to write.
That brings us right back to “education vs. indoctrination.” I can’t ignore that. That’s corruption and manipulation on crack!
As Ronald Reagan so rightly stated, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”
Freedom is everything to humanity, ingenuity, productivity, and the “pursuit of happiness.”
We need to defend freedom. I will fight this nonsense to my last breath, not only for my own children and grandchildren, but also for yours. “We few, we happy few, we band of brothers,” are the new “greatest generation.”
That’s why I’m running for Governor in the State of Wisconsin. As Governor, I will remain honest, listen carefully to the will of the people, and anticipate the unknown consequences of any action, before I act on behalf of Wisconsin.
I will confront anything that undermines our Constitution, God given rights, or the sovereignty of individuals, the State of Wisconsin, and the United States of America, with vigor. As such, I will defend our Bill of Rights, nurture free enterprise, engage in communities, embrace diversity most properly understood as “equality,” not “equity,” and celebrate our beautiful and blessed country.
I will let freedom ring!
