MILWAUKEE, WI – A chaotic scene outside of the Bucks-Celtics playoff NBA game in Milwaukee late Friday night left several injured and several others arrested.
First, just after 9:00pm, police say that two men (26 and 29 years old) and a 16-year-old girl were shot outside of Fiserv Forum arena near Martin Luther King Drive and Highland Avenue during the last few minutes of the game.

A 19-year-old male was taken into custody for that shooting.
There was a capacity limit for the Deer District plaza surrounding the arena for the game’s watch party, and reportedly the limit was hit at 11,000 fans. However, once the capacity limit was reached, crowds ran over gates to be let in.
Reportedly, multiple physical fights had broken out around the same time, although it’s unclear if those were connected to either of the shootings.
Then, just hours later, a total of 17 people ranging in age from 15-47 were shot nearby downtown, less than a mile away from the arena.

Police say 10 people were taken into custody in connection with that shooting incident, and nine firearms were recovered. It’s unclear if these two shootings are related.
Everyone from both shootings is expected to survive.
In addition to these two incidents, police responded to five other separate shooting scenes, all before 9:00pm Friday. Those incidents left three people dead and two injured.
This is a developing story.
