(LifeSiteNews) — Editor’s note: With Big Tech trying to silence the truth and the mainstream media keeping the population in the dark, LifeSiteNews is here to bring you the latest in the battle for life, faith, family, and culture.
Here at LifeSite, we know how much the truth matters to our audience. We also know that our donors are our biggest fans. That’s why we have hired a brand-new Donor Relations Officer to provide our biggest supporters with a more personalized giving experience.
Meet Alexandria Schumacher, LifeSite’s newest pro-life warrior dedicated to bringing you the latest developments in the pro-life and pro-family movement. This week, we are rolling out a special five-part series to help you get to know our newest team member!
Scroll down for Part One of this special series where Leslie Sonnen, Co-director of Development, sits down with Alexandria to learn a little more about her background and personal life as one of ten kids.
Leslie: Hi Alexandria, thank you for sitting down with us today! We at LifeSite are absolutely thrilled that you joined our team to help further our pro-life and pro-family mission worldwide.
Alexandria: Thank you so much, Leslie. I’m Alexandria Schumacher. I’m the 3rd oldest of 10 incredible siblings and daughter to the greatest parents (in my humble opinion) that a daughter could ever have.
Leslie: That’s wonderful to hear. The world needs more activists from large Catholic families like yours!
Alexandria: When I saw the opportunity to help expand LifeSite’s initiatives and seeing where all our loyal readers and financial supporters pour their time and treasure with us, I just had to say yes — especially now when the pro-life and pro-family mission is under attack like never before.
Leslie: That’s beautiful Alexandria. It sounds like your large family played a huge role in your passion to join LifeSite and help us reach even more people. How does your personal family life inspire you to bring the LifeSite mission to the world?
Alexandria: My large family means everything to me, and I know there’s millions of people out there that would say the same — but unfortunately, large families are being persecuted. Globalists despise what we stand for. They see families like mine and know that our traditional and faith-based sense of character development from being immersed in traditional values, and family prayer time. We learned that we belonged to one another, to a community, and to God.
Leslie: It sounds like you have an incredible family and work life. But I’m sure you have other things you like to do besides your job! What kinds of activities bring you joy outside of your work?
Alexandria: As a professional harpist I delight in anything music-related, whether it be attending local symphonies or privately playing my Lyon & Healy Mahogany Concert Grand in the late evenings. Travel has always been a big part of my life due to my father’s career as a pilot. Any excuse to hop on a plane or take a road trip to visit one of my siblings – count me in!
Tomorrow, LifeSite will release Part Two of our week-long series that covers more of Alexandria’s professional background and her dedication to LifeSite’s mission to change the world. You won’t want to miss it!
It is through the generous support of our donors that Alexandria and our international team of reporters are empowered to promote pro-life and pro-family values for you and your children. Support our daily fight for life, faith, family, and culture today!
