Interview on BBC Radio Wales on the latest #Covid19 data ahead of the easing of restrictions this weekend.
We have seen improvements across most areas of Wales so the data supports continuing with the easing of restrictions.
In England, since removing many restrictions we have seen cases falling so this further supports Wales heading in the same direction.
We have seen a significant reduction in Covid patients in hospital and dying since the vaccine rollout.
If there is any impact of schools returning which would push up cases we will see that first in Scotland where they return soon.
We saw cases rise from September last year but with the vaccine rollout if we see the same this year we need to not focus on cases alone.
