Is Twitter shutting down? Most likely not.
Elon Musk, who recently took charge of Twitter, has continued to assert confidence in public remarks. He announced overnight that the firm had “just hit another all-time high in Twitter usage”, apparently referring to the number of individuals active on Twitter.
Users confused if Twitter is finally shutting down
“The best people are staying, so I’m not super worried,” Musk wrote about his employees on Thursday. It is important to note that Musk spent $44 billion to purchase Twitter, so he has a strong motive to keep it afloat.
Many people thought Twitter was shutting down due to the resignation of several engineers, reported The Washington Post.
As per Downdetector.com, some Twitter users experienced functionality issues, and Twitter outages were recorded in the last 24 hours — but as usual like other platforms face outages, Twitter also have temporary issues.
The #RIPTwitter hashtag added fuel to people’s concerns, with many assuming that Twitter’s service would terminate. However, users are advised to do their research before coming up with their own conclusion.

Elon took part in the trend and uploaded a meme on his verified account that depicts the Twitter logo on a gravestone, hinting that the site is no longer active. However, he soon posted a contradictory tweet sharing that Twitter hit another all-time high.
Millions have been using Twitter for decades, and it has evolved into one of the most popular social networking networks. Despite the recent adjustments, the mere concept of its “ending” has upset consumers.
“Twitter ending will be the closure I could never give myself,” one user said.

Users can take sigh of relief as their favorite microblogging platform is not going anywhere for now.
